Asta Geil is obsessed with everything words. She started writing from the moment she learned how to, and takes every opportunity she can get to hone her craft – be it camps, classes, or an internship at a publishing house. She loves novels that are weird, dark, different, and funny – anything from zombies to Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy to Haruki Murakami.
Asta is from Denmark but fell in love with English during an exchange year to New Jersey, USA. This also sparked an interest in cultures and traveling, which brought her to London and afterward Edinburgh, where she is currently studying a MA (Hons) in Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh.
